The 2.0 update introduces massive overhauls to the base game mechanics.

One of the game’s most praised systems is its hyper-realistic simulation of a single season. Unlike other life sims that cycle through all four seasons, Summer-Life focuses obsessively on the months of June, July, and August. The v2.0 update deepens this further with “micro-seasons” based on the traditional Japanese 72 kō (climate divisions). For example:

The original game had a brutal stamina system (10 swings of an axe and you pass out). v2.0 introduces a toggle. You can play (classic stamina) or Relaxed (unlimited stamina).
